Saraki vs IGP: Return suspects to Kwara.

Saraki stated: “Investigation has been completed and they were about to be under prosecution under the state law on the advice of the DPP (Department of Public Prosecution) and the (state) Ministry of Justice.” He added: “All of a sudden, the suspects were ordered to be transferred to Abuja.” Following the disclosure, Saraki subsequently led nine senators to report the matter to President Muhammadu Buhari. Idris in a statement issued by Jimoh Moshood, Police spokesman, said this was far from the truth. He however admitted that some cultists in Kwara state had confessed to killing some persons and that according to Police procedure, were transferred to Abuja.
