WHITE HOUSE SENDING TEAM TO SINGAPORE IN CASE TRUMP-KIM SUMMIT TAKES PLACE

The White House will be sending a team to Singapore in the event President Trump does meet North Korean leader Kim Jon Un. White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters “The White House pre-advance team for Singapore will leave as scheduled in order to prepare should the summit take place.” Earlier this week President Trump abruptly canceled his plans to meet Kim in a meeting set to take place June 12th in Singapore. His reasoning was over what he called quote “tremendous anger and open hostility” from North Korea. The rogue nation attacked Vice President Pence calling him a political dummy for saying North Korea would end up like Libya if it did not reach a peace deal on its nuclear weapons during the summit.Despite Trump's cancellation, the U.S. and North Korea have offered signals that a meeting could still be on the table. The U.S. also accused North Korea of failing to meet with a planning team. POSTED BY ABRAHAM.
