Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie Wins 2019 Everett M. Rogers Award

Prominent Nigerian novelist and writer, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie has received an honorary prize titled 2019 Everett M. Rogers Award. The annual award is named in honor of the late University of Southern California (USC) Annenberg professor Everett M. Rogers. It is presented every year by the Norman Lear Center at the University of Southern California (USC) on behalf of the university’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. The prolific writer is being honored for “reframing the discourse on race, gender and identity”.
