Late Pastor Dare Adeboye

Death is not a subject of mockery but it is the inescapable end for every human being on this earth. If every other thing is uncertain, be rest assured that death is certain. The news of the demise of the third son of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God came as thunder blow. Without gainsaying the fact and regardless of whatever angle viewed from, it is an irrepairable loss, not only to the Redeemed Christian Church of God family but to the entire world especially the youth. All we can wish the family is fortitude to bear the loss and the Grace to forge ahead in the journey to heaven. There is no doubt in mind that Pastor Dare Adeboye, though a young man, fought the good fight of faith and is now in the bosom of the almighty God. We shall all meet someday and part no more.

The title of this article is poised to shedding some light on the possible circumstances leading to the sudden and painful death of the young minister of God by comparing spiritual with spiritual as the Bible enjoins and comparing physical with physical as common sense dictates.

Spiritual autopsy is not common with us due to certain beliefs from religion or traditions that discourage investigations into the circumstances leading to the death of people and individuals. Seeing death as an act of God which the root causes do not have to be interrogated. The medical autopsy also comes up occasionally for the purpose of unraveling the causes of death. We understand that whatever actions taken or carried out on a corpse cannot do much repair but serve in informing and providing useful lessons to work with in the future.

Apostle Omotosho in his video on YouTube.

Shying away or discountenancing the video posted on YouTube https://youtu.be/–KJC9gsxpA in March with over 83,000 views already which indicted the General Overseer of the RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye of double standard in the ways of treating the children of the founder of RCCG in person of Late Pastor Josiah Akindayomi and his own biological children.

Late Pa Josiah Akindayomi ~ Founder, Redeemed Christian Church of God.

Apostle Jacob Omotosho accused Pastor Adeboye in the video for not being faithful in managing the legacies of the founder and the General Superintendent of RCCG and to the detriment of the children. This video spiritually exposed the children of Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the general overseer of RCCG to ridicule and a precarious spiritual environment. Under normal circumstances, one should expect that the authorities of the church should have taken the right steps to do the needful.

The death of Pastor Dare prompted us to place a call across to the man of God who made the video and whose name is Apostle Jacob Omotosho to find out from him if there was any actions taken by Pastor Adeboye, his children or the church representatives. In his reaction this morning over the phone, he indicated that after the video went viral 2 months ago, Pastor Enoch Adeboye and his wife, Pastor Foluke Adeboye reached out to him through one Pastor Kuo of the Redeemed Christian Church of God informing him that a delegation from RCCG would meet him for a round table discussion on the issue of neglect against the children of the founder of the RCCG he raised in his video.

However, Apostle Omotosho laments that until the time that Dare passed and even till the time of the telephone interview some few hours ago, Pastor Adeboye did not fulfill his promise. On his reaction to the news of the sudden death of Pastor Adeboye’s son, he said he felt devastated about the death of the young man but consoles himself with the fact that because he served God faithfully, he does not fit in for description as dead, he only sleeps. Asking him further if he thinks the curse that he placed on Pastor Adeboye’s children conditionally in his video has anything to do with the death of Pastor Dare, he replied that what sounded like a curse as opposed to a blessing was pronounced in Yoruba language which should be understood by all without the need for an interpreter.

Finally, on whether he still expects that Pastor E.A Adeboye would still honour his words and take the right steps to reconciliation or not, he said that is up to Pastor Adeboye to choose the part that he would like to follow and he would also need the Grace of God to be able to do the needful.

This is where we have problems both in the world and in the kingdom of God with regard to either a big man so to speak or a great minister of God. The commonest problem is that of either being too anointed to pay attention to minute details or too elevated to leverage on the benefits of the flow of useful information from the bottom to the top. This platform shall update you as things unfold. Stay tuned!
