Wife of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Mrs Folu Adeboye, fondly called Mummy G.O. clocked 70 on July 13, 2018.

The Kingdom Women, a fellowship for Women who live on the Redemption Camp, celebrated Mummy G.O. by holding a service of hymns at the Redemption Camp, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, with the event tagged “Service of 70 Hymns.”

Giving her thanks to God, Mummy G.O. narrated when the church relocated to the Camp on October 1, 1985, how a Bible Study meeting began with herself and four other women who were wives of carpenters and bricklayers that worked and resided in the camp. Today, the little team has grown into a mighty army of women.

“And I want you to know that you made my years.” She told the women in attendance. “All my 70 years of living. I don’t know women of (this caliber) can gather together and sing to God for me” redigionng reported.

All dignity was thrown away as she wept and rolled on the floor in gratitude to God, who made her see her 70th year.
